We decided before heading back to Tala tomorrow we would drive through the second most visited game park in Kenya – Nakuru National Game Park. It was amazing to see so many animals up close and in their natural surroundings. We got some great pictures but I’ll just put in a few. I could have stayed all day watching the baboons groom each other or the giraffes eating or the rhino grazing. We were talking about how each animal has its own unique purpose and how amazing God is for creating all of it.
Now a word of thanks to our wonderful hosts – Kate and Johnny Brooks – they opened their home to us and allowed us to stay and eat with them and their children. Thanks Kate for the “germ free” environment! We love you guys and can’t wait to see you again. Please pray they will continue to follow God’s lead in their lives.
We thank God for a safe journey home on Wednesday. No carjacking, no smash and grabs just a long day of driving and getting a few more things in Nairobi before arriving back home around 6pm.
