Valentine Smiles!

Pauline and Gideon visited the kids at Mercy again and brought them more mangoes. Before their visit I asked Pauline to tell the kids how much we miss them and their smiling faces. I also wanted the kids to know that the providence of their mangoes were a gift from God-working through His people. And you can see from their faces how happy they are.

I am so thankful that Pauline is able to send us updates like these.
She also sent the following picture of Anastasia picking spinach from the shamba (garden). It's hard for us to imagine here in the US, but what a blessing those leaves of spinach are.
Please keep this ministry in your prayers and if God is moving you to help in some way please feel free to visit our donation page, call or email us. We were blessed on our recent trip (for presentations around the US) by working with many of God's people. Each of us can make a difference in the life of a child through the power of Christ.

You know what is really great? It doesn't take much to make a child smile. Whatever is spent on special days like Valentines is well worth it, and not even that much. We celebrated here in our home, without using much resources, but seeing the kids being kids is well worth it.

I have seen Chuck and Tammy's ministry here in Kenya and it is worthy of your investment, even if it is just to create an environment where a child can smile.
